IMPORTANT NEWS:
Bridge to get into Smethport between Seneca Kean Manor and the Park is CLOSED do to VANDALIZM over the summer. We are waiting for permits to repair the bridge. If anyone has any information about who was involved, Help would be greatly appreciated.
Well, the 2007 - 2008 snowmobile season is hear. Some of us got out to enjoy the first snowfall of the year, before it disappeared again. I am sure hoping for more snow for a longer period of time this season. Although we did get snow toward the end of the riding season, the snow that actually made riding enjoyable disappeared as fast as it came.
There are going to be some additions to our trail system this year. Details will be posted when I know exactly what they are. Also if anyone is interested and has the ability to work on a new trail map help would be appreciated. We have some great ideas; we just need someone to turn them into reality. Please contact Dave Kibbles if you are interested. Thank You
You will notice that we have a new web site this year. Please check back often because I am still trying to finish it up. If anyone has any suggestions on anything you would like to see on the site, please contact the webmaster. Chris Claycomb Email at being@claycombstire.com
Just a reminder
As a club and its members, we should set an example for everyone to follow. The club works hard all year around to be able to provide new trails and to improve our existing trail system. Let’s show a little respect to the landowners, club members, and volunteers who make all this possible. Be courteous around houses, on highways, and stay on the designated trails.
Lets all do our part so that our sport can continue to grow. We can always use help organizing events and working on the trails. So if you have any spare time, lend a hand and contact a club member to see where you can help out.
If anyone has any rough cut lumber, poles, or any other materials that they would like to donate, would be much appreciated. Thank You!
